because inserts add substantial bulk and cost to shipping, they are not included — allowing you to select your preferred fill and firmness.

ZWAAZO inserts are available upon request for an additional cost.
they feature a 100% cotton shell and are moderately filled with poly fiber, offering a soft yet supportive feel that complements each hand-dyed cover.

recommended insert sizes

for the best fit and shape:

square covers generally look best with inserts 1–2" larger, depending on the type and density of fill.
lumbar covers are designed to fit same-size inserts (e.g., 12" × 20").

down or feather inserts:
we recommend an insert 2" larger than your pillow cover (for example, an 18" × 18" insert for a 16" × 16" cover).
down and feather fills naturally compress over time, so sizing up helps maintain a full look and lasting shape.

polyfill inserts:
we recommend sizing up 1" for a tailored fit, as many polyfill inserts are densely filled. a same-size insert may also work for a more relaxed shape. if the insert is described as moderately filled, sizing up 2" may create a fuller appearance.
